We’re back in LA for SIGGRAPH 2015! The SIGGRAPH conference is focused on the latest developments in computer graphics and interactive techniques.  It’s 5 days packed with academic and technical goodness. You can find us at our booth (226) on the expo floor (south hall) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday where we’ll demo the latest Granite for Unreal. See how we automatically import hundreds of UDIM patches in UE4, how we enable ultra-high resolution lightmaps or how we render with textures up to 256K, all at ultra-high framerates for VR. We also have something to show you on Android!

Granite for Unity enters public beta

Back in August, during Gamescom, we revealed the private beta of our new and improved plugin for Unity. Now, in the wake of Game Connection Europe, we’re letting Granite for Unity loose on the public as part of our free public beta program. As of today a 30 day trial version of Granite for Unity is freely available and can be downloaded on our product page.

Digital Media and ICT are at the core of iMinds research. At iMinds they’re experimenting with technologies that are applied and evaluated in many application fields (think gaming, media production, immersive environments…) that have the potential to revolutionize the way we experience and interact with imagery. This is why visualization is such a big part of their upcoming conference. Because of our experience in that field, we’ve been asked to host a talk at iMinds The Conference on October 23rd.

After the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles in the beginning of June, it’s Europe’s turn with Gamescom. Gamescom will take place in Cologne, Germany, between August 13th and August 14th. It’s not only the biggest gaming event in Europe, it even has the most visitors of any video game related event in the world! And this year Graphine will have a booth in hall 4.1 of Gamescom’s Business Area!

Kicking off our 2014 conference presence, we’ll be attending GDC 2014 in San Francisco!
